Music festivals are the big thing in India at the moment. There are a couple of festivals that have been running for about 2-3 years but this year sees the birth of a new platform a midst the sand dunes of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Partnered with MTV, VH1 and Lonely Planet, ‘RAGASTHAN’ is India’s first holistic, wildest destination music festival that kicks off things this November 16th, 17th 18th 2012.
The Dunes of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan have seen many a king, warrior and trader walk its sands but none could leave a footprint. Instead, they left footprints on the mind. This will be your home for 3 days and 3 nights where you’ll get to hear music from around the world. 3 stages (Morio Main Stage, Ammara Electronic Stage, Olun World Stage) that will encompass many genres, ‘Ragasthan’ has a note to suit every ear. It promises a more intimate festival than you’ve been to before. There’s a host of activities and events other than just the music.
